Creates video content for the department’s two social media accounts (@choosetmu and @studentlifetmu) on Instagram and TikTok with over 25,000 followers combined
Attends events that the university hosts to create event recap videos
Plans, films, and edits video content
Monitors social media trends on a daily basis to implement that in the content for these pages

Pitches and writes various articles (news, feature, opinion) targeted towards first-generation Tamils residing in foreign countries of the 15-29 year-old demographic
Manages the official Instagram and TikTok pages of the media company with over 65,000 followers combined
Works closely with the founder of the company to plan weekly content
Creates and schedule posts while closely following brand guidelines

Worked with the communications team to curate video and graphic design content targeted towards alumni of the university
Pitched and launched a series catered to young alumni called Ten Questions with TMU Alumni where I went into the workplaces of TMU alumni and interviewed them about their roles
